This stone house, dating from the nineteenth century, used to be the great-grandfather's wine cellar, retaining its authenticity whilst being modern and comfortable.
The superb villa can accommodate up to ten people in its five bedrooms, three with a double bed and en suite bathrooms with shower and WC, and a family room with a king-size bed next to a room with two singles and a shared bathroom with shower and WC. You will also have a highchair, cot and baby bath available on request.
Make life easy with numerous household appliances provided, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, vacuum cleaner and more. You with no doubt appreciate the fully equipped kitchen, with an oven, hobs, dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, high chair and more, while the living room has a flat screen TV and DVD-player.
Make the most of the nice summer days, by settling down comfortably on the large furnished terrace (60sqm) with table chairs, deckchairs and a plancha, facing the vineyard or enjoying a long soak in the whirlpool tub (available at an extra fee and another €500 deposit).
The tourist tax is not included : 0.60€ / Person / day.
End cleaning, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental price. A deposit of 600 EUR will be asked on arrival and return at the end of your stay. Please leave the kitchen in good conditions.
A car is recommended, you will have free on-site parking, pets are not accepted and smoking is allowed outside only.
With the nearest bars, restaurants and shops 2.5 kilometres from the village, you will have everything you'll need for a great holiday. Go for long walks or bike rides whilst admiring the beautiful scenery and why not bathe in the lake, a few minutes from the house! Active types can go mountain-biking, horse-riding or rafting, while there is also a swimming pool 4 kilometres from the village.
The picturesque village of La Digne d'Aval is the ideal starting point to explore the Languedoc-Roussillon. Marvel at the diversity of the landscapes, the red cliffs, the lavender fields and the vineyards, visit churches, museums, historical ruins and botanical gardens in the area and why not go to the beach (Narbonne or Perpignan 100 kilometres from the village), sunbathe on the fine sand beach or swim in the warm clear waters of the Mediterranean.
