Welcome to the beautiful city of Budapest and this grand apartment, located within walking distance or easy public transport of all its sights. Start by visiting the Gellert thermal baths, right by your door. Cross the magnificent Liberty Bridge (szabadsag hid) and walk to the famous Central Market Hall (Vasarcsarnok) to shop for food or souvenirs or simply marvel at its architecture, then people-watch and window shop on the exclusive Vaci Utca pedestrian street. From here, take the oldest metro in continental Europe or take the famous Andressy Street to the park of Városliget, boasting a huge ice skating rink in winter and a zoo, a small amusement park and an exquisite restaurant. While here, don’t miss the city’s famous Szechenyi Baths.

Just two bridges down from the apartment you can also jump on the Budavár funicular to see Budapest’s famous Buda Castle, the residence of the Imperatrice Sissi, and its scenic surrounding area with views of the city. Here, you’ll also find the famous Fishermen’s Bastion, an absolute must-see. The Highlights of Budapest’s vibrant nightlife are largely centred around the city’s 7th district, including bustling Raday Street, Kazinczy Street and Gozsdu Udvar, and don’t miss the island of Margit Sziget - centrally sitting in the Danube river, this city island has a popular swimming pool and hosts an open-air theatre in summer.

Budapest also hosts famous theatres and concert halls including the Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre, the Madách Theatre and the Palace of Arts (MUPA), just to name a few.
Don’t miss a visit to The Hungarian State Opera, a beautiful, historical building in the centre of the city. You could get the chance to attend a premiere of the Rigoletto or Swan Lake in a building hosting one of the best acoustics in the world!
